About our church

Pastors James and Jeniffer Solomon

We are a church committed to know more about God through the study of the Bible; His word. Our church is a place of restoration with a clear vision to assist people’s needs, by providing spiritual food and serving the needs in our community with food and clothing. These activities are weekly. Our vision as a church is to serve God by fulfilling the great commission to Philadelphia and the surrounding proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.

OUR MISSION

REVIVAL CHRISTIAN CHURCH is called by God to:
1. PROCLAIM the gospel of Christ for salvation to everyone.
2. RESTORE to the original purpose of God for individuals and families in all aspects of life
3. GUIDE to live the fullness of God in Christ Jesus.
4. TRAIN through comprehensive discipleship to carry out the work of God and edify the Church.
5. SERVE God and serve people through acts of love and mercy.

WE BELIEVE

We believe the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, without any error, and is profitable for doctrine for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness that the man of God may be completely equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, and that He is true God and man. He died on the cross for our sins. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father.

We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin, and therefore Dead in sin. Only through regeneration through the work of the Holy Spirit man’s salvation and spiritual life can be obtained.

We believe that eternal salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from man’s works, and is possessed by any and all who have faith in and received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

We believe that baptism and Lord’s Supper are a memorial to His suffering and death on the cross. These are ordinances to be observed by the church in its present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means for man’s salvation.

We believe in the personal, bodily resurrection of the dead, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven, and the everlasting punishment and separation for God of the unrepeated.

We believe in the autonomy of the local church. The church shall manage its own affairs and shall not be subject to any other religious body or organization.
